Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to meet up with a forum-favorite, @JoanB615 to find out the inside scoop of Joan's comps and and modeling business. I'm was pleased to find out Joan's a very straight-forward and kind person, someone who was very nice to interview and I hope to see more of Joan soon!
I started with my ever-so-favorite question that I begin every interview with:
Hi! So, you are Joanb615. What can you tell us about yourself?
Well there really isn't too much to tell. I'm just average I guess. I work a lot and when I want to relax I come to the forums. What modeling comps are you currently running/competing in? 2. i am currently competing in Project Runway Season 5 and Miss World Season 5. Both hosted by zita1966z. I am also entered in Mr. Universe Season 2, hosted by Ash89. I am hosting Miss USA Season 1.
How long have you been modeling for the Sims? What Sims game did you begin modeling for?
Well I haven't been modeling for very long. I think I started in Dec. 2015. My first comp was Project Runway Season 2 where I came in second. Once I stared I was hooked. I don't feel that I'm a great editor yet but I am getting better. Who are some of your favorite custom content creators? Where do you generally get your CC from?
4. As far as custom content goes I don't really have a favorite. I love them all. I do however have quite a few creations from Jomsims.(I hope I got that right.) They do great work. I have also downloaded a couple of creations from Bobskellington and zita1966z. It's just as addicting as real shopping. What advice could you give to readers on how to run and compete in successful modeling comps?
I really can't give too much advice as far as running a comp, because I'm still learning. All I can say is try to be fair to all and remember to have fun. Now when you are competing just do the very best that you can and always be proud of your work. Believe me it will get better. Thank you so much for participating in this interview! Is there anything else you'd like to say to the readers?
You're very welcome it was a pleasure. All I want to say is be yourself and have fun. The forums are a great place to meet new people who may become good friends. :)
